Right of Withdrawal

Note: The following right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Entrepreneurs within the meaning of Section 14 BGB do not have a right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (DevSolux UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Potsdamer Str. 203, 10783 Berlin, Germany, Email: info@devsolux.com) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments we have received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

Compensation for early commencement of services

If you requested that we begin providing the services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an appropriate amount. This amount corresponds to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point in time at which you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal with respect to this contract, in comparison to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may expire early:

  • In the case of services (e.g. consulting, development, setup, support): if we have fully performed the service and we only began performance after you expressly agreed that we should start before the withdrawal period expires, and you confirmed your knowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed.
  • In the case of digital content that is not delivered on a tangible medium (e.g. downloads/provided software components), if we began performing the contract after you expressly agreed that we should begin performing the contract before the withdrawal period expires, you confirmed your knowledge that by giving your consent you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract begins, and we provided you with a confirmation of the contract.
